Private Policy

1. Scope of Pickup & Delivery Service

Pickup & Delivery is primarily a Wash, Dry & Fold service. Dry-clean-only or specialty garments may require separate processing and pricing.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Selecting a garment-handling preference during signup

  • Providing accurate item counts for dry-clean-only items

  • Reviewing service tickets and invoices upon delivery

 
2. Customer Availability & Access

Customers must ensure:

  • Items are ready at the scheduled pickup time

  • Safe access is available for pickup and delivery

  • Someone is available to receive delivery

Lenox Park Dry Cleaners is not responsible for missed pickups, missed deliveries, or orders left unattended due to customer unavailability or access issues. Mobile tracking and notifications are provided for customer convenience.

 
3. Garment Inspection & Inherent Risks

We use professional methods best suited for the nature and condition of each garment. However, we cannot be responsible for inherent weaknesses, pre-existing damage, or manufacturer defects that are not visible prior to processing.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Suede, leather, silk, satin, cashmere, fur

  • Double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethane

  • Buttons, beads, buckles, sequins, trims, or embellishments

 
4. Laundry Disclaimer

Laundering may involve inherent risks including:

  • Shrinkage

  • Color loss or color transfer

  • Fabric wear or damage to delicate or aged materials

Such outcomes are not considered processing errors.

 
5. Item Counts & Discrepancies

Customers are responsible for providing an item count for dry-clean-only garments at pickup.

  • If no count is provided, the Company’s recorded count will be accepted as accurate

  • If a discrepancy is identified, the Customer will be contacted prior to service

  • Orders will not be processed without customer authorization

All discrepancies or concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with the original ticket.

 
6. Unclaimed Items

Garments not claimed within 90 days will be handled in accordance with state regulations, which may include donation or disposal.

 
7. Limitation of Liability

The Company’s liability for any lost or damaged item is strictly limited to seven (7) times the charge for processing that specific item.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Sentimental value

  • Replacement cost

  • Consequential or incidental damages

 
8. Refusal of Service

Lenox Park Dry Cleaners reserves the right to refuse service for:

  • Unsanitary items

  • Hazardous materials

  • Items posing risk to equipment, staff, or other garments

  • Failure to respond to service authorization requests

 
9. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. By accepting delivery or invoice, the Customer authorizes charges associated with the services rendered.

 
10. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, scheduling Pickup & Delivery, or accepting an invoice, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Policies in full.

These Terms & Policies are governed by applicable state laws. Lenox Park Dry Cleaners reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
